(The Support Member)
- Receives a Prepaid Card from Standard Bank PayCard managed by 263 Global for cash Payouts, payments and salaries
- Members are required to attend Society meetings in every two months
Premiums & Contributions
- Every member must pay premiums every month of R50 per family
- Members are required to pay contributions per family every time there is death in the society.
- Your member’s compassionate contribution fee towards another member’s death is traditionally what is known as chema or nyembezi. It is announced through our whatsapp platforms. Collections must be done within 48hrs of death confirmation
- Collected funds and monthly premiums go into a collective funeral fund or reserve fund it helps to mitigate incase of multiple deaths in the society.
- Members can add their parents as non-active members. Parents additions do not pay activation fee, but they have a waiting period of 3 months.
- The member’s Compassionate Contribution Fee can also be paid in advance for 6 - 48 funerals this may assist in less administration in collecting contributions from members when an emergency arises and will enable quick and effective cash payout to the beneficiaries.
- All members are to come together and attend the funeral and support with any other resources needed. We are service oriented and driven from the time of death to the time of burial, we stand with you
